BLS Toronto: Got acknowledgement just now for Minor OCI application applied on Oct 6th in person. It was 2nd attempt with application as BLS returned 1st attempt on Sep 27th due to missing father surrender certificate.

I applied walkin on Oct 11 at BLS Toronto. BLS status still says 'Under Process' not moved to 'processing at consulate'. Does any one faced this? or in the same boat?

Call and check with BLS. We (my husband and son) applied on Oct 14th at BLS Toronto in Person and it changed to Processing at Consulate General on Oct 16th.

Hello All
Did anyone applied with only birth Certificate of minor?
I will be applying for my one year old son’s application but I have only birth certificate with parents information, not statement of live birth(Already ordered on 2nd Oct but haven't received yet). Will they accept birth certificate only?

Mine application is same (Walk in -Oct 06,2023 -Minor) but there is no acknowledgement on OCI website for me

It is actually little late as the actual application on Sep 27th. I am glad they made up for the delay as we have to travel in Nov.

Its probably because it was actually applied on Sep 27th along with my application and I got acknowledgement on Oct 12th. But BLS returned minor application saying it requires father Surrender certificate even though it is not on the checklist. I am glad they made up for the delay as we have to travel in Nov.

Sorry no. Minor is India born so Indian birth certificate works.

for postal OCI application can we use CANADA POST OR UPS OR FED EX or We have to use only PURLATOR ?? Any one can tel me whos used postal applcation
