Wonder why BLS Brampton and Toronto alone does not have online appointment booking after October month whereas every other location has. Has anyone checked on this?

Is this total processing time after date of acknowledgement? So if we add 2-3 weeks for acknowledgement, it's taking 12-13 weeks for OCI?

Is it only for Ottawa applicants or for other locations as well?

Date of acknowledgement for Ottawa is quick. Mostly next day. So processing time is ~8-10 weeks.

No, it is not like that. The date of Acknowledgement varies. For me, it was 1 week.

Can you please add me in spreadsheet as I did postal application on October 3rd, Bls Brampton received it on October 5th. Then status changed to processing at consulate general on October 12th and application date changed to October 12th also

We applied for OCI for me, my wife, and our infant daughter at the Brampton location on 28th Sep (Walk-in). Me and my wife received the acknowledgment on 13th Oct. However, our daughter has no updates on the OCI website. Is there a longer wait period as she was born in Canada or does infant application take more time? I have a flight on 24th Oct, that I am planning to reschedule end of Nov.

If no urgency to travel then end of Dec will be better choice. Mostly likely end of Nov is good too but you never know given increase in volume of OCI application, timeline may get impacted too.

It seems pretty strange that you are unable to see the acknowledgement for your daughter's application.
Don't think it takes more time for children that are born in Canada.

Here's my timeline. Its taking a lot longer that usual it seems.

BLS Acknowledgement: 26th Sep 2023
Status: Processing at Consulate General
OCI website status: No Records Found


Its been 3 weeks. No status on OCI site yet.

When did the status change to Processing at Consulate General? Add about 2 weeks form then for Acknowledgement. For tracker link see below.

There are some people still waiting for Ack for Sep 28 walkin -- likely you will see it today.
