Dose any one has same or later acknowledgement date and application processed??

I need some urgent help
I m a Canadian citizen since 2020 and i want to apply for OCI.
I had not yet surrendered my Indian Passport
Unfortunately I lost my Indian passport and have submitted a police complaint and got an affidavit stating the same
Now i m confused on how to proceed forward with my application for OCI
Can anyone please guide

   Ans: Yes, you have to provide copy of Nativity Certificate / Domicile certificate issued by competent authority in India as your proof of Indian Origin.

That is generally given by the state you lived in. Basically need to be in India to get one.

While filling the oci form online i notice that it says that the validity of the passport expiry must be atleast 6 months-is that the Indian passport details or the Canadian
My indian passport has already expired for more than 6 months so does that mean I cannot apply for oci ?

Should be Canadian Passport.

that should be Canadian passport's validity .

Wouldn't you have surrendered your Indian Passport before submitting application for OCI? If it is surrendered it is no longer valid travel document
