What is your acknowledgment date?

For me and for my son,it was Oct 13th. For wife, it was Oct 11th. All 3 applications submitted in person on September 22nd.

I think you will get it tomorrow. My DOA is 12 oct and my status is updated to proceeded today later in the day

Did you send it to Brampton? Assuming it gets added to the BLS site soon, it's going to be about 3 weeks from then for it to be acknowledged by MEA (for Brampton applications). From then on it will take 3.5 weeks to get processed and another week for it to be available at counter for pick-up at BLS and few more days for it to be delivered. Your timeline is going to be tight as you have only 7.5 weeks before your flight. Won't hurt to look into a visa application if you want to avoid any anxious moments. Visa applications used to take 2 to 3 weeks but recently even that has gone up. With the holidays coming up, I won't be surprised if there is a surge in the applications.

Same here. Applied on the 17th for a tourist and surrender. Received by them on the 18th October but no update for the last 16 days as well. Calls to the call centre have been of no use. No way to contact them in the Surrey office either. Not sure If i'll get my visa in time for travel in December. Please share if you get an update.

Not yet as i apply for OCI which take longer to process . You have apply for visa and i am pretty sure you will get your visa soon as visa stamping is done in canada office .

I have applied for OCI by postal at surrey office and courier was received by them on 18th October 2022 but still there is no update on BLS website.

How long it take for status to be appear on BLS website . I am planning to travel india on 26th Dec 2022.

My postal application got received on October 6,2022 still it’s showing no record on online portal. I tried calling multiple times but no luck.

High commission Toronto says upload self attested documents.. how does that make sense in a soft copy.. do I need to self attest and then upload documents?. Please help

Finally, I received the OCI via courier but there is no update on BLS tracker.
My spouse's tracker as of today shows the Purolator Shipment number.

My journey from Citizenship application to OCI finally ended. Thanks everyone in the forum for helping out. This forum is really better than other social media platforms which had lots of misinformation.

Just upload the scans of original copy as is and hard copies that you submit had to be self attested.

Hi, I went to Toronto BLS to apply for OCI and Surrender my passport at the same day. Waited from 8 AM to 1.30 PM due to long queue, but was not able to make it up. At 1.30 , application accepting process was stopped. Appointment is full till DEC and not able to see any appointment schedule after DEC. Nowadays people come at 4 AM to get a spot in the walk in line. Can anybody suggest when the new appointment schedule ( JAN ) will be available ? I'm not preferring postal submission.

Don't you need surrender certificate to apply for OCI?

They don't accept SC & OCI applications together.

Does the status 'Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping' imply the document is ready for pickup or is it followed by a 'Ready for pickup' status?

Got the status updated for both of us this morning. It's processed now.
For my wife, two more rows updated.
