I don't think that's true, the Money order is for CGI Toronto and has to be paid by a Money Order only, Not cash or Debit.

You're right, I confirmed it this morning at the counter. OCI fees ($345) can only be paid by Money Order.

For OCI no need to upload citizenship certificate
But photocopy (self attested) is needed during postal/walkin submission
only things that need to be uploaded
1.Canada passport
2.COPR (under Indian visa section)
3.Indian passport (cancelled )
4.Birth/Marriage certificate (as applicable)
for child applications include parents docs as well in scan (COPR,Indian passport, Canadian passport)

I thought they were asking for Indian visa, and uploaded my Indian entry visa in this section! hope it wont be an issue!

Just to update, my wife has status "Passport ready For Collection after OCI stamping " on BLS. Notes also including the tracking# of the return envelope we included in the package.
Mine is still showing "Under processing at Consulate General".

My wife's OCI available for pickup at Purolator's office.
My OCI showing status "Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping " since this morning.

I did not send any originals via postal. Only self-attested copies.
I guess we had the same chat a week back.

BLS Calgary accepts the entire amount (CGI+BLS) by Debit and cash. Toronto BLS works differently.

No worries mate. In one post from @rajneeshv , the agent mentioned "just ignore the checklist". I wonder why don't BLS simply update the checklist (to send across only self attested copies) and avoid this confusion. This is not about sending a extra copy of a document. Here we are talking about absolute important documents like Canadian Passport. Wonder why they don't they keep things simple!
