BLS statuses are updated throughout the day. I suspect as and when our dear BLS folks work on your file. So kinda real-time.

Just got off the phone after talking to a BLS Ottawa agent who says that my envelope has still not been opened. Tomorrow it will be exactly 1 month since my application was sent to BLS Ottawa. Not sure what the holdup is. Super disappointing.

Just checked my status and I see all 3 rows updated

Documents Printing Status	PROCESSED	On	11-MAY-2022
Dispatched From MEA (OCI )	NEW DELHI	On	11-MAY-2022
Document received At	TORONTO	On	11-MAY-2022

Now waiting for documents received at BLS Toronto

new dates updated, BLS still says processing at consultate general.
WhenI called BLS they said it is with CGI Toronto, they will send to BLS then BLS will courier home. So I gotta just wait and watch.

That's what the $5 are for. The optional Call-in service.
BLS would call you to update at each stage. I have received 2 calls so far.

I too paid the 5 bucks. I have received 0 calls so far. Haha. Lets hope that they clear the backlog asap

My BLS Application status shows "Ready to Dispatch" and my OCI page shows "Under Progress". Ready to Dispatch in BLS Status means "Is my originals been sent back?" or "Are they dispatching my OCI?"

congratulations your process is almost completed. CGI Toronto has sent oci booklet to BLS Brampton. Once received by BLS purolator will pick up and deliver. May be 2 -3 days max

Anyone awaiting acknowledgement , I have been waiting for acknowledgement since 8th April . Planning to go to open house to Consulate general in Toronto on Friday . Has anyone attended the same.

No emails from them. You will need to check it time to time. I usually used to check Noon + late evening daily.

Thanks buddy. Its been a long wait so far. Still ways to go. Hopefully all of us get our OCI soon and carry on with our life

Does anyone have an idea one MEA/ CGI/ OCI website says - printed and dispatch and reached Toronto, how many days does it take to reach BLS and how many days for BLS to ship it out?

For me, it took 4 days to change from under process to Processing at Consulate General on the BLS tracker. It took 22 days after that to appear as UNDER-PROCESS on the OCI Services site. That's how far I have got. It's been 16 days in this status and I am expecting up to another week before I see movement as per the average times I have seen here.

Hang in there. It's slow and frustrating, but it is happening.
