Did anyone apply for a visa recently through BLS Toronto or Brampton? How long does it take to get the visa processed now?

I'm also looking for similar details. Could someone who processed recently please provide the timelines? Thank you.

Which jurisdiction? Ottawa location, I have read here that there's a delay. But if it's Toronto, you should hear back from Consulate/BLS this week, be it AOR or additional document requirement.

At what point should I start to get worried. I am waiting since 13/09/2022 when the application started showing processing at consulate general and I still can’t see anything on the OCI website.

Did you mean 13th August? Because it is not 13th September yet.

Hi everyone, I am going to submit a fresh OCI application. I had an Indian passport and now have received the surrender certificate.

Can you please tell me which documents need to be uploaded on the OCI application website?

I don't see marriage certificate in the OCI checklist. Do we have to submit the marriage certificate? Is it mandatory?

Dear All, for the question in oci do you have relatives in india - if we put yes and give our parents details will parents need to go for any verification? Parents are aged and mostly they live with father's younger brother and come back home once a month or twice for utilities like eb etc. Can anyone please advise if parents need to stay in the same address for any verifications please?

I have also provided details of my parents but I don't think they'll call them for verification. Experts on this group who already got their OCI please confirm my understanding.

Not for me. I don't think they will verify unless that person is flagged for some reason.
