BTW, I picked up my OCI Cards today as Purolator chose to deliver it in the 45 minute window when no one was at home yesterday.

So, for me, the whole OCI Process took exactly 60 days from application at BLS to delivery at home.

Oh yes, it feels great. It's as close as we can get to a dual citizenship for India. I can't wait to travel to India with it.

BTW, I was wondering if someone here can share their experience in travelling with the OCI card for the first time? My son will be traveling alone next month, and I want him to be prepared fir the process. I would be really grateful if someone can share their experience.

So, for me, the whole OCI Process took exactly 60 days from application at BLS to delivery at home.

Its been 1 month and 20 days for me so far. Part of the reason for this delay is because my envelope stayed unopened at BLS for exactly one month. On the plus side, BLS never asked me for additional documents. Oh well, at least now its with MEA. Hopefully it will follow standard timelines from this point forward. With an acknowledgement date of May 25th, I can expect to hear something by June 25th.

I have read that Bombay airport has a separate / dedicated lane for OCI card holders. Not sure about other airports.

Applied for entry visa at Brampton BLS office on May 24th, and received my stamped passport at home on May 30th. Pleasantly surprised to receive it this quick

When was it processed at consulate general Toronto??
