Can you share the timeline? In person or postal application?

I sent my application via mail on Jan 17th.
Got it back yesterday on March 9th.
I am based in Toronto

I have a question for those who applied and got their OCI at Toronto location (In person):
After you submitted everything in person and after the OCI is issued,
Do you have to pick up the OCI cert yourself or they courier it to you?
Is there even an option?

TBH, I didnt get any notification from B(L)S guys.
I got an automated call from Purolator yesterday that a package is being delivered tomorrow (Mar 10),
and they need someone to be here to sign for it.
Then I went on BLS to check and it was showing that its been already sent by Puro!!
In fact, it had a "Airway Bill #", which in fact was the tracking #

need help for oci, below is my timeline

postal app -purolator sent on 28 feb 2022 Bls Brampton
Received on march 1st
Bls tracker says received on march 2 nd
Status changed to under process on bls tracker - march 9th
Just want to know its under process where i mean in Bls or Cgi?
i have to go out of country just worried is there any chance my application will come back due missing paperwork etc?
At this point it says under process( not sure where bls still hv it or sent to cgi .. )
Can anyone please help in above would be appreciated

Just curious: Why do you need to take a digital AND a printed photo to BLS in person?
To me, I thought, because you already upload the digital photo on their online portal,
when you submit your online application, you just need to take a printed one with you, isn't it?

Correct. But since I took the picture at home, I did not have a printed one. So I took the digital one, and they printed it for me.

BLS never seems to disappoint with contradictory information.

So you know how when you call the call centre they say for tracking number and application related issues dont call instead send an inquiry with the web form and they will respond within 24 hours? Well I sent them one and this was the the response I received after 3 days, What the actual F.

oh okay. So if you have walkin, then they check the originals there and you don't have to submit it with the rest of the application?

For surrender, I took all my originals as checklist mentioned but they only looked at one original which as the Indian passport. This was BLS Brampton.

Bls tracker added puralator tracking info :Feb 8th 2022
Puralator expected delivery :Feb 9th 2022

Did you have to submit your Canadian passport with the application even though you did a walk in?
