Hello,
In the OCI form under documents upload what is India Visa? I have Indian passport and had to get an e- visa last year. Do i.ipload that?

You can use that section to upload the declaration for voter id and ration card surrender. No need to upload any visa obtained on Canadian passport.

my status still showing BLO assigned application submit ed on 25-12-2024

Finally status shows Enroll updated and when I try to search my EPIC it shows cannot be found

Hi ,I submitted my application of (4 people)on Nov 19 (ottawa)and then on nov 21 it was updated to under processing at consulates and after that no update .
Did you got any update ?

I submitted on Nov 11 and still no response

What is wrong with Ottawa? Looks like High Commission doesn't have enough staff but the Consulate General in Toronto does. Toronto is approving applications in just 3 weeks. Is there a place we can lodge a formal complaint? Because this is beyond their regular timeline of 6-8 weeks

Ottawa takes 10-12 weeks.

Did you try calling the High Commision in Ottawa where the application is being processed because it has been more than 12 weeks. Their OCI enquiry phone number - 613-755-2072

No this number doesn’t work, nor does the suvidha portal. No responses on email as well. It’s extremely frustrating

this whole process from surrendering the passport to getting the OCI is overwhelming .

Hi, here’s an update on my OCI application.

I submitted my application at Toronto on January 25, 2025, via walk-in. Yesterday, the acknowledgment status appeared on the OCI status tracker, but I haven’t received any communication via email yet.

My BLS tracker has changed to (Counter Delivery to BLS Centre after OCI stamping).

When should I expect the delivery now and will the tracker information change after this on BLS website that I should be aware about ?

3-4 days. Status should change to Ready for Dispatch.

Hi,
My oci application status shows Processed. Does it mean that the oci has been approved? Is there any chance for it to be rejected once the status moves to Processed?
Asking since I am planning to book tickets for India. And don’t want to wait till i receive the oci card. Thank you.
