When can I expect OCI status updates for a KiD and for us
We submitted our applications on October 12th and currently the status shows as UNDER PROCESS
 
Trying to apply for OCI at Toronto walk-in Premium lounge this Friday.

I've been asked to surrender my Voter ID but I can't find it. I tried to get the EPIC number the https://electoralsearch.eci.gov.in/ but it says no results found. Is it possible that the Voter ID expired given that I move in 2011 to Canada? (although I am not sure I have ever applied for one). Either way, how do I go about this with BLS?

This is something which started recently started. Not much info currently available on this topic in the forum.

Mine still shows in BLS-India. What was your application date?

Guys, what the hell is this voter id surrender? This is going to be a real pain. How is it going for the people who have applied in last 1 week. Are they accepting applications without it? Or just returning people to come back with voter id surrender proof?

Wait till 25th for evisa. You should have your OCI before that.
