I have a question for Minor OCI application - I was married in Texas, do i have to endorse the marriage certificate by the High Commission ?

That was quick for Ottawa!

I received my kid’s OCI via Purolator yesterday. BLS Montreal (Ottawa jurisdiction). Timeline:
Walkin - 27 Sep
Ack - 29 Sep
Processed - 13 Nov
Dispatched from MEA - 14 Nov
Received at Ottawa - 17 Nov
Handed to Purolator - 17 Nov
Delivered in Montreal - 20 Nov

I know this is as new to you all as to me but I am thinking would people who already applied for an e-visa post the suspension, have to apply again?

Not sure but maybe you can check the status of your previous application and see if anything changed?

Took a chance. The application page was still available on the website.

From now one only a few will apply for OCI. The rest of the people will only opt for Evisa.

It should be faster instead as Evisa is totally online, no BLS n all. So less pressure on BLS.

Nothing for me yet, as of this morning. I'm assuming that we'd probably get an update later today.

You can pay BLS fees using debit. For the OCI fee payable to the consulate draft is required.
As for how many applications they allow per appt., it seems to depend on their mood -- some agents accepts many while some asks for multiple tokens.

Thank you so much for your help. Submitted 3 applications today and paid BLS fees by debit.
