If applying for my spouse for OCI, our marriage certificate and the birth certificate is not from India or Canada. Does anyone know what the process is for attestation?
Or can I send it like that? Or would just a notary be okay?
What is another alternative for my spouse to be able to go to India? Can i do an entry visa for spouse if i hold an OCI card?
If yes, once spouse gets entry visa, how long do we have to entry India with that visa? We need to travel to India early next year, trying to figure this out since no more tourist visas.

(r) Marriage certificate
Please enclose a copy of Registered Marriage Certificate which has been attested by High Commission of India
or any other Indian Embassy / Consulate. The Marriage Certificate must indicate the date of marriage. There
should be two years gap between the date of marriage and date of OCI application.

There are different types of entry visa with single/multiple entry starting from 6 month to year. Details again is available on BLS site.
If you do not have an appointment be aware that the lineups could be extremely long these days. Check with folks here who have done recent walk-in applications.
Now let's see whether they get back to the 21 day pattern by processing Oct 23 Acks today.
