1. In the signature page , i need left thumb impression on top section but how about the below section(application for minor child) , do parents need to sign or thumb impression of child is required there too?

In my experience, Scarborough is better than Brampton for walk-in. When I went to Brampton last week the line was very long (weekday) and, anecdotally, chances of getting was low without lining up in the wee hours of the morning. Whereas in Scarborough I was there at 10 am and got in by 11am (again weekday). That said, its recommended to go as early as you can, preferably be there before 8am when they open.
Also, be prepared to spend the whole day as BLS has recently started rejecting applications for extremely minor things that really do not matter and give you an option to correct it using their value added service where someone will fill in a new online application with you and then process it. Its a pity but they did that the majority of applicants when I was there. And, it takes a very long time as most people take up on the offer and its a time consuming process.

3 applications. No update since 6th oct. How long will they hold at BLS. It usually takes 1 day after dispatch status. But I don’t see any dispatch status. Our flight is booked for 16th oct.
7th oct sat bls was working. Getting a bit anxious, would have preferred by hand pickup to avoid uncertainty, but bls said no, it has to be through purolator. Hoping to receive it by Wednesday 11th oct.
