occupation- what to fill ? -PMM/Leon/Rupeshwari/Others pls help

Hello guys ,

I am little confused here on 2 points -

1) what should i fill in occupation in question 11 - i am a computer engineer with expereince in 3 companies with designation as metioned below

COmp A - Software Engineer

COmp B -Senior Software Engineer

Comp C - Technical LEad

Please tell me what to fill in occupation filed for these 3 entries?

second , since i am single so i guess the family details part (IMM0008 Generic form page 2 ) i need to fill NONE as brother/sis/Parents dont apply - is it true?

Please advise.

I think it would be "Systems Engineer", yes? System Administrator included several of titles,i guess same will do in your case.


Yes , NONE in boxes and bellow .... read statement and sign that I certify I dont have any brother or sister etc.

you should fill in the name of the title which fits your ministerial instruction criteria (i guess).

I am thiking this way , to fill the occupation column with 'SOTWARE ENGINEER' as different designation which i had are part of this occupation.`

May be i can attach a sheet with explanation of roles/responsibilities along with designation.

Please comment if this is a good idea?

what are the NOCs for each of these designation, did you work for more than one year in any of these companies.

Actually i am applying under FSW 3 - 1 year experience in canada, in all companies i have worked for more than 1 year

The NOC applicable to me in 2173 - it lists Software engineer and Senior software engineers ,but doesnt include senior titles like Technical lead.

SO i was thiking i can mention OCcupation as SOFTWARE ENGINEER as designation are not occupation actually , there could be different designation within the occupation category.

Please confirm.

yes, then list that. i don't think it would matter as long as you have had a job in 2173.
