CPC - VEGREVILLE SENT US A LETTER REGARDING OUR APPLICATION FOR PERMANENT RESIDENCE. THE LETTER STATES THAT:
Applicants in Canada who are 18 years of age and older and have resided in United Arab Emirates for 6 months or more in the last 10 years are required to obtain a Police Certificate from that country's law enforcement authorities.
I already have this police certificate before I left UAE way back April 2011 and this is valid for 3 months only. I stayed in UAE from Feb 2008 to April 2011, and the certificate is valid from April 2011 to July 2011. My question is, will the Immigration consider this certificate although it was already expired by this time?
Your replies will be highly appreciated. Thanks

I think you will require a new PCC (police clearance certificate) if you have not sent in a current one at the time of your application submission.
i will get a new one? although my PCC is valid from the time I stayed there?

To be accepted by CIC, your police certificate cannot be other than three months old when it is received by CIC. The validity period has nothing to do with when you stayed there.
So you need to get a new PCC.
When I left UAE (April 2011), I already have my PCC with me valid for 3 months, meaning to say, it was valid until July 2011 only. Since then, I didn't come back to UAE and stayed here in Philippines up to now. So its kinda hard for me to obtain a new PCC.

This is what I could find to obtain PCC at this link

Good luck

You need to include a valid PCC when submitting your application. Since your PCC is dated April 2011 and expired in July 2011, it would not be valid now when the CIC asks for it.
You may obtain a valid PCC as follows:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/mid-east/united-arab-emirates.asp
If you have been given a time frame to submit the PCC and are not able to get the same form UAE in time, you could write to CIC explaining the same and send in a copy of the expired PCC just in case.
Good luck with your application!
The OP is currently in the Philippines so the link I posted was to the UAE Embassy over there. with specific instructions for Filipinos to obtain a UAE PCC
Hope it helps

I think you may require it as you did stay there for a period of time. It is probably best that you do tell them you do not want to have any misrepresentation on your application.
