A couple of you guys has an oath scheduled for Jan 15... I have my test and interview that day in Montreal! I cannot wait to get this over with..
It's annoying not being able to freely travel anywhere
It is a bit unfair how some people are granted their citizenship after 10 months while some of us have to wait 3-4 years. I don't know. I graduated from university and work at university and still got RQ'd and it has been almost 21/2 years. After my test in Jan I have no idea how long I have to wait again. Some people are so lucky.
Update:
Wife got Oath invite today for the ceremony on Jan 15. eCas still not showing the update. Letter dated Dec 16.
Test (Jul 23rd) to Oath almost 6 month. ATIP shows Decision granted August 22nd.

BTW, Wife received invitation for Oath mid December for Jan 15 by mail, till now eCas is not showing that.. guess this is a measure for those who live abroad and did not notify CIC.
