Has anyone else have an experience with a delay in the receipt of their oath invitation letter?
My eCAS indicated this Monday, June 16 that I'm supposed to take the oath on June 26 and that my invitation letter was sent on June 11. I called CIC about it but I was asked to wait. However, it's been a week now since the letter was posted and I still haven't received any letter.
Has anyone gone to the oath ceremony without their invitation letter, just a copy of the eCAS update?
I'd still call CIC in a couple of days but I'm just curious if anyone else has a similar experience.

usually the opposite. the letter comes before e-cas updated. call CIC to figure out what to do in case you don't get the letter. you can also contact the local CIC office.
It varies from place to place, in my case I always have my E-case updated before I receive the letter. Can you (Kanata2014) tell where you are taking the Oath, I mean which CIC office, e.g. Mississauga or Ottawa.
Relex. If you do not received the post, than you can go with e-cas status but you
have to be in the office at least 1 hour earlier and than they will print another one
and handover my wife have the similar case.
I am worried..ii saw the change on my ECAS that cic sent me the oath invitation letter for the week of september 24, and that they mailed it on september 3 but so far i received NOTHING….( it's been 5 business days since they mailed it)
what do I do if i dont receive it? should i call them?
My letter took 8 days to get to me. Sent 19 August -- received 26 August. And that was just to go about 100 km. That said, even with the holiday it should have arrived for you by now. I'll call and pester them
the date and time they give you on ECAS to attend ceremony is the same date it is written in the invitation letter right????? Im asking so at least I know THE DATE AND TIME CORRECTLY…only thing I dont know is where it will be held..since i didn't ge the letter yet

On ECAS write: they sent me letter on Sept.03 to attend the oath on Sept.22 , but I just received the letter yesterday on sept.10.
when i received the oath letter I found out the date(stamp) on the envelop that the sent on sept.08, but inside the letter paper they wrote the oath invitation on Sept.03.
So my advice is you just wait for more couple days... if you r still not receiving, let 's contact the CIC.

My ceremony date is the same DATE AS YOURS ! WELL BE IN THE SAME ROOM..i searched citizenship ceremonies for the 22 of sept and it shows up scarbourough at 1:30 pm..it must be it
