Does immigration to Canada has a skilled worker program that includes nurses?

If yes, I've one year and two months of experience as a registered nurse in my own country, so can I apply immigration to Canada? what is to NOC Code if applicable?

Thanks for your reply. I applied for immigration on 11 Feb 2008 (need 62-68 months to process) so shall I cancel the old application or wait until the visa office start the processing?

I would cancel and reapply. 60+ months processing is just too much.
