My application and my Wife's sponsorship data has officially been sent to Mississauga by the law firm handling our case.
From what I have read here in this place, my wife and I should be notified when it gets to Mississauga and in one months time know if it gets forwarded to Buffalo...maybe Seattle? since I live in Portland, OR.
Now the fun begins?

Mississauga doesn't notify you it has arrived, it will send an approval/refusal letter to the sponsor in 43 days. It will be forwarded to Buffalo at first and may be processed to completion there.
PMM
Did you know if the law firm had some way of tracking its arrival to Mississauga?
You are correct PMM - Mississauga won't notify me, but UPS will through a tracking number provided me from the lawyers - this is how we will know it gets to CIC-M.
I assume the AOR will come when the files are transferred to Buffalo.
Yes. So far I've had no trouble with Buffalo. Everything has pretty much been right on time.
"It will be forwarded to Buffalo at first and may be processed to completion there."
Which means that if the files goes to Seattle, there is a problem and/or interview?
Not necessarily, Buffalo has been forwarding a lot of applications recently and not because they're problematic, it's only an attempt to get them finished faster.
