just want to know if u have any idea.
i sent application on sept 24 they receive on sept 28 .
and i got owp n med on aprril 14
its almost 11 months on 28 aug but i havnt got any response regarding finalising pr
if u know how long its gonna take or if any of u r friends alreay got it.
just little bit tensed becoz its almost 11 months n i heard from someone that it usually take 10 months.

Hi,yeh they asked for additional docs bacause there's a conflict on the name of my husband in his birth certificate..if you are single what I know is you can receive ur pr 3-4 months after ur medical exam. But for those with dependents its longer...seems like ur on ur 4th month this august,and lately I think the process get slower,but don't worry I'm guessing u will receive it this month or next month..if you are single....

yes i received my medical n owp on april 14 n its already 4 months on aug 14 .
i know they r slow but we all want to get over with it ,its a long wait.

Yes,its a long wait specially when ur that close to the the end of the process...well,let's just pray that everything would happen according to God's perfect time!!!!!in HIs time...

I applied for my open work permit and PR last December 10, 2009 and I was required to have a medical. How come? there are applicants in November and they were not required medical?

Did you receive a medical request form?

They probably erred in that regard. Have you tried calling CIC why you have a medical request form whereas those who applied earlier did not receive any?

I just called the immigration and exactly they were erred. Since my husband is here in Canada too, the medical form should be in my husband's name.

Hello everyone on this forum.. I am new here.

Chusana I want to ask that whether your Husband is on a visit visa in Canada when you applied for PR on your live-in caregiver basis or on some other type of visa (Ur husband) ?

Looking forward to have some help from people here
