If they received your FP but background is still in process, then you are under security check and there is no timeframe for it . You can request GCMS notes and see where your application is stuck.

For see if you are under security check , you have to call them or request CBSA notes .

Requesting GCMS doesn’t effect your application or processing time . It’s processed by different department. You can call 1-888-242-2100 Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm . This line is so busy so you have to try like 100s of time to get connected.

Hey, I am waiting for my background from Mississauga. I am Dec 21, 2023 AOR.
I have everything completed except BGC. And the last update was on Mar 04, 2023 ig.
I know a few dec applicants waiting for BGC or prohibitions from Mississauga.
