You can contact IRCC if oath mail is not received 6 calendar days before the event.

Could be either. In most cases, it's online.

I am happy for you. My test email was also from MB/SK. Similar timeline as well with AOR on Nov 28 and test updated to completed on Jan 2nd. Last update was BGC completed on Feb 20th (did not receive a fingerprint request). Last time I left the country was also 2016. At this point, everything is really just random.
