Congrats… quick question. How do we know decision made ?
My oath is scheduled for April 10 as per the tracker since Mar 19. I haven't received any email instructions yet. Any guidance? Should I call them?
Hi, it's the weekend, so it might come by Monday or Tuesday.
Mine came within a day but it was during the week. Perhaps, if it doesn't come by next week you can call IRCC and see.

Thank you! I will wait for a day or 2 and call them if it doesn't come by then.

The status changes from "in progress" to "decision made", but it's unknown how they've started marking "decision made" before the Oath.

Decision can be made but not showing on tracker. IRCC told me my applicatiin is approved but it still shows in Progress

There can be things going on but not showing on tracker. Tracker is the official way to track the progress without additional communication effort.

Oath Ceremony: Not Started
On Mar 2 (Saturday), I received an email to download e-citizenship certificate at the email address I used to submit my citizenship application.
However, ceremony date is still not available in the tracker.
- On Mar 6 2024, my oath ceremony was scheduled (Mar 20). I tried to reschedule due to a potential out-of-Canada travel, but then decided to put off my travel and take the oath on that day.
- On Mar 20, 2024, I joined the Zoom call while physically in Canada and took the oath. During check-in, an IRCC officer checked my IDs and location (asked me to open the map app on my phone and show my location), then asked me to cut my PR card into 4 pieces. I was also told that my citizenship certificate would probably arrive by the end of the next day if I emailed the signed form on time (I was also given the option to choose a physical one instead, but I stayed with an electronic one). The whole process took about 50 minutes. I emailed the signed oath of citizenship form right after the ceremony concluded.
- On Mar 21, 2024, I got the e-certificate on the IRCC portal, thus concluding my immigration trek.
My test was completed on Jan 26th 2024 and I got my background verification on Feb 7th 2024. I have not heard anything since then. Is this normal?
No update. It’s been 25 days since LPP completed. Wooow

That’s a very smooth oath ceremony and e certificate process.
I attended the online ceremony on March 18 the officer asked if I am in Canada and if I have any travel plans and I said not until May. I sent the signed oath form right after the ceremony but there’s still no e certificate to be downloaded. On Friday I sent my document on the webform and tried to call IRCC but couldn’t get through. I will keep trying today.
does anyone have any idea why it’s taking longer for me? I just want to apply for the passport :/
