Yeah I would also say yes coz in my case also the eligibility got updated to “completed” after BIL

I didn't submit it yet, so the tracker is same as in progress for eligibility.
They asked for police certificate for Pakistan,tho8gh we are residing in bajrain and saudia in previous 10 years and more pay slips, the asked for random 2022 pay slips

As for PCC, it is written on the website that an officer can request PCC at his own discretion. I'd say just prepare everything in a good way, double check and send asap.

You guys are very lucky. Mine is still not started (even after BIL&MEP) but hopefully something is going on.

But this is in the tracker not the GCkey acc, in this it says still processing.

Was it after your medicals had been completed as well? Because my biometrics got completed on 5th Feb but on portal eligibility is under review and on tracker it says it hasn't started.

I would say yes because my eligibility changed from not started to completed in just one day after BIL.

I have a question. Does IRCC process background and eligibility simultaneously? I was just reading about components of background check and it seems like a lot of work and resources. It seems logical (at least to me) to check a candidate for eligibility and only then start background checks if a candidate is eligible. Does anybody know anything about it? TIA.

I think it always shows like this until a person lands in Canada. So it is not reliable I'd say. Can check GCKey for final decision though. Please somebody correct me if I got it wrong.

I just checked the tracker. Everything is complete and COPR details are there.
Checked GCKEY Final Decision 7th of January.

Hi guys, I had a question.
On PR tracker everything is completed, only Background verification is in progress.
I called IRCC and they said info sharing and security clearance have passed, criminality has not started yet.
Any Idea how long does it take for criminality and when can I expect PPR with the recent trends?

Congratulations! Did you get an email regarding finial decision update? Status in GCKEY say “application updated” but there is not noticeable change. Everything completed on tracker except Background which is in process

I did not do upfront medicals. So it was even before biometrics and meds.

No, I just checked my pr tracker and saw the update.
Then I logged in to my GCKEY.

I’ve also gotten my ready for visa mail.
