Yes, you get the Biometric Instruction Letter separate from the fee reminder. My husband's instruction letter came 2 days after he received the fee reminder
I don’t even have the question “how many people in the application”. It just asks for UCI, first and last name, date of birth and place of birth and birth country. I can’t get registered with my UCI or my spouses whom has been in Canada for 8 years with multiple work permit renewals. So I’m not sure, we applied online so you think it would be in the system. I also am unable to link to his Gc key account.
Then i have no idea sorry. My spouse/sponsor couldn't seem to get it to link to her account and was having the same problems as yourself but for some reason it linked straight away to mine the primary applicant when i did it. The system seems very hit and miss with a lot of things
I am going to apply for spousal PR in feb as I'll be getting married to my wife in India. If anyone could guide me on documents I need in order to apply. I just want to be prepared in advance rather scrambling here and there. We'll be flying to Canada & will live together. What are her options of work till she gets her PR as for time being she'll be on tourist visa. Can I apply for Open Work Permit? Would she need to fly out of canada after 6 months & re-enter ?
Appreciate if anyone / everyone could advise on this.
Thanks.
( PS.
1 - I guess this would be an inland application since she's with me.
2 - I am Canadian Citizen, Indian Origin if this matters )

Once the AOR (acknowledgment of receipt) is received she should be able to apply for open work permit. With inland online apps this seems to come within a week if all documents are in order. I had my AOR within 3 days after applying.

It may be different for each case, once you set up an account to apply online and answer questions it gives you a document checklist that will outline all you need. Id’s, passports, photos, marriage certificate, proof of relationship stuff.

Hi there - currently in the process to sponsor my husband (inland) through the family sponsorship route. Here is our timeline (Oct 2022)
Oct 3 - application received
November 24 - medical examination request
November 30 - husband completed medical examination
December 4 - biometrics request
December 5 - husband completed biometrics
December 6 - No updates since then
December 24 - pre arrival services letter received
December 28 - APR inland eligibility letter received (approved both sponsor and applicant)
no more updates on the site since December 6th - biometrics show as pending but have already been submitted. Does Anyone know what comes after this? Or how often the the site is updated?
thank you in advance!
Received the request letter to pay the RPRF today (we chose to pay it later when we submitted the application) and paid it shortly after receiving that letter.
Greetings friends, I was wondering what is the next step in our sponsorship process,
We received the letter requesting the medical examination on Nov 18, 2022
I got my medical exam done on December 2 2022 since it was the earliest physician available
TELUS Health - Immigration – Bloor has stated that they submitted their medical report on December 17, 2022
It’s been a little over a month since my medical examination was submitted and I’m just curious as to when I can expect a response or at least the next set of instructions
