Hi,

Since we applied our application by us, we are somewhat worried, I have one question for you, did you receive your AOR for first submission before oct 2021 ?

I wanted to know how can we be sure that the app. will not be returned?

Your help will be really appreciated. thank you.

You only get AOR when they start processing it and they don't need to return the application. We submitted the application first in March and it was returned by mail in October due to missing signature, we didn't receive any AOR for the first one. We did get a temporary application number tho (starts with X), but not the permanent number which only comes with AOR.

My spouse (sponsor) received a mail :
This confirms that your application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class has been received by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) on... on behalf of my name...!

it has a application number as well and I am able to link my application online. Should we link the application through sponsors gc key or applicant?

Why are so many people putting useless info in the spreadsheet? Nobody needs to write "already have valid biometrics" or "exempt" in the date fields.

it was previously an indicator that the application has been seen or in process hence it is on the spreadsheet
putting already valid will not distort actual timeline ( hence the biometric section after AOR)

Are you saying You were able to link your application online without AOR ? Could you guide us how you did that so that I can try that out too.

I just used my other details in GCKey, like UCI number and Family name (try with both yours and your sponsor). After a day or 2 I received my AOR. You can also try linking there using your Temporary aor but without X in front Good luck!

I need some help in knowing this, if you or anyone in your friends know please let me know. My spouse has sponsored me for spousal PR.
I have a valid work permit and TRV (visa valid till 2025) and deciding to go to my home country due to some reasons. Am I allowed to travel outside Canada (for few weeks) and return to Canada while my PR application is in process.
I really need some helpful opinions, thank you.

Hi everyone I applied in November too (filled in google doc) and also have done medical and biometrics and my wife got an email confirming they got the application and I have been trying every way possible to link my application and was wondering if anyone else has been having this issue. I have tired suggested posts saying to add a space I have tried without a space I have added 2 as the applicants and 1 but nothing seems to work I keep getting this :

Based on the information you entered, we found no applications.


the reason I tried 2 and 1 is because I read this

• If you’re applying for family sponsorship, in the last question, “Number of family members, including the primary applicant, that are part of this application”, also include the sponsor and the co-signer (if applicable). The number entered will be at least 2.

I really dont know what in the world I am doing wrong here and also I keep getting this

Error 403

Your login session is either invalid or has expired.



but it goes away after numerous refreshes

so am I the only one having this issue or does anyone know how to fix it please ?
