Congrats BuzzBuzz, мои поздравления!
Спасибо большое)
Please help me guess-timate. I got my BG check complete in April 15. The rest is pending. I was planning to take a vacation in July, does that seem like a bad idea? and given the BG complete in April 15 when do you estimate approx the entire process to be finished by (maybe I should postpone my vacation until after).

Hi members,
I am 2020 November applicant ( Feb 13 -2021 Aor). My Indian passport expired in may 2021, I got new Indian passport today. Do I need to update this to CIC? Or it's fine to just wait for the test invite. Please give ur inputs. Thanks

I think it’s best to update CIC on your new passport. Reason is you may need to submit copies of every document you submitted at the time of application for the interview (based on information from those who have had interviews) and it’s not a problem if your passport has expired but if you renewed it, you should submit the new one. That’s my personal opinion.

Is it required to have a valid passport while waiting for the progress of our application?
My husband passport is expired. We dont want to renew it because we’re not planning to travel. We just want to wait for the citizenship app to be finish.

No, there is NO requirement to maintain a valid passport for the citizenship grant process.

congrats! was the Test Easy ?
Thanks! Easiest test in my life, took me 1 day to study and I did the exam at 11 pm, hopefully the results will be approved. It felt weird to be recorded as you don't know how to act
every move you make, you think, you are doing smth suspicious for them)

No video (or audio) is recorded by IRCC during the test. They only take pictures at random times during the test to ensure you were not talking to someone else or leave the room.

That's actually even worse. They'll be getting pictures out of context and see me smiling at wrong funny answers

Was taking the picture at the start of the ID and yourself quite straightforward ?

LOL. Yeah, some of the wrong answers to the questions are ridiculous.

Yes, worked from one attempt.
