Today marks 1 year since I resubmitted my application. I took the test July, confirmation in July, passport pages requested and submitted first week of October and still nothing yet
Montreal office.

I contacted my MP yesterday and below is the response I got. When logged into the tracker it says my application was last updated April 23rd, 2021.
Has anyone had a similar experience with MP + application?

Dear xxx,

We called IRCC this afternoon and this was the information provided:

" No documents outstanding required. Just waiting for the schedule for the test."

You are welcome to write a letter directly to IRCC requesting for the application to be expedited - cite reasons and provide proofs for such request. Then, submit your letter via web form.

We will follow up again in January 20222, if necessary

Meanwhile, please note that there are two ways you can check your application status online. You can verify the status of your application

• Submitted by mail (if it was not linked to an online account):
  • by using the e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) online tool, which is updated daily.
• Submitted online or submitted by mail and linked to an online account:
  • through your online account.

I too from montreal, timeline is much similar as you, no update since passport request. Will let you know as soon as i get an update on DM.

Ircc told my MP that with Scarborough office we might have to wait until Fall 2022.. almost one more year

I got an update on tracker that my oath is planned for Dec 2. I need to postpone it as I will be out of the country at that time...

1. Anyone has any experience in this ?
2. Can anyone share the email address from where you received the oath invite email (Mississauga office MIS) .. wanted to reach out proactively instead of waiting for the email 1 week before the oath date.

A week before the ceremony. If you don't get it, you'll have to call IRCC and let them know your oath is less than a week from that date and ask them to send the oath invite email.
