Got my citizenship test invite today at 11.39 AM

I am not in Canada at the moment and would like to postpone this for a date in June. Any suggestions?

Reply back to the email and request a rescheduling.

I can but not worth the hassle. I have to quarantine for 2 weeks in Canada and then back in India for 2 weeks. It will cost me atleast $2500 with the airlines and quarantine fees. Plus in the pandemic times, it's not best to travel frequently for the greater good...so ...

For anyone who has passed the test , do you get any email confirmation that you’ve passed or any change to the eCAS?

You have to click on the "email me" option after the test is done. No change in ECAS until DM. which will take a while, after test is done.

Hello Group,
Let me start with appreciating this group for keeping it live and sharing uptodate information about the process. Grateful to all active contributors.

I logged into today to look at status of my application. Status has been updated to 'Decision Made'. I didn't receive any mail yet. Also, I didn't receive any invitation for the citizenship test or interview.

When I look at the status description here https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/redir.do?redir=app_gra&lang=en&app=ecas

It says one gets an invitation for a citizenship test when the application is 'in process' state and once we complete the test then the application is marked as 'Decision Made'. But I didn't take any test or got an invite. Does it mean they will be calling me directly for oath ceremony or my application might have been rejected?

Are you over 55 years old ?, it very unusual to see a DM with out taking a test unless if you are 55 years old. I would say it better to call them and confirm. Or may be you will get your test invitation in upcoming days. Please update your progress with us.

Test Passed : January 29 2021
Decision Made (1st Time): Feb 4 2021
Ecas went back to IN Process : Feb 19 2021
Decision Made again : Mar 3 2021

I got the invitation to re-take the citizenship test. Reason mentioned in the invitation is that, "we are unable to accept your test results, could be because of technical issues or required photo identification was not submitted"
i've used Provincial ID card for as photo identification as it has signature and DOB and address.
PR card was not used because it doesn't have signature on it. Only thing is it has DOB and Card expiry date.
Test Invitation document was little confusing.. it clearly says "Photo ID with signature on it" such as PR card. But our PR card will not have signature.
Can any one reply that they took the test with PR card (with out signature)as ID proof and was successful.
