Hi,

I am going to apply citizenship for myself and my daughter this week. I have only one question regarding my daughter's application (CIT 0003) that should I fill "Use of a Representative Form" for her as I am helping filling her application on behalf of her?

I see that form listed under "Step 2 Complete the Application" (Must be filled docs section) as per below link

Please suggest. This is the only question that stopping me from submitting our app.

In my opinion no representative form need to be filled as you are filling , signing minor's application as parent and not using any firm/organisation/representative.

Minor above 14 and older has also to sign the form.

I don’t know, i might be mistaken. When I checked my application status, it says Application Receive: Received
Application in Process: In Process
Applicant Notified: Decision Made

so I thought its on Process now
Correct me im wrong

Pl call CIC and try to find out what happened? And check your snail mail regularly.

You get a Test/interview letter in case there is no Finger Printing request and no additional documents are required.

Honestly don’t go by any of those. Last year I applied and got an invitation to write the test and then like a week before the test got an email saying that there are a couple discrepancies in my travel dates. Upon cross referencing the info they had to what I had I was a few days short of the min physical presence and I had no choice but to withdrawal my application and really again! Goes to show that they don’t actually check for Eligibility eligibility before sending you your test date. Was such a waste of time. Wish they would have checked all that before instead of waiting until the very end to tell me that!
