Today I got email invitation for my citizenship test and below is the instruction for ID card in that email. But PR Card do not have any signature on it, so I am confused here, any one has any idea?
A photo identification (ID) with your signature on it, such as
o your permanent resident (PR) card (even if it’s expired)

The instructions explicitly mention PR card so go ahead and use it. Shouldn't be an issue AFAIK. There are several applicants on this forum who reported that they used PR card.
If you don't want to use your PR card, then use your Driver's License or your Health card.
It would be online (over Zoom). There were only a couple of reports of applicants invited for in-person oaths so yours will most likely be online. Please post an update once you receive the oath invite email, thank you!

i have not checked the website since early august then noticed this update regarding the oath the other day!!
soon....
unreasonably long and costly process. there is always an excuse why it takes 6-7 years to finish it, First the conservatives anti immigration rules: long residence requirements, then now with the liberals: COVID.
All the same
ps.: still no email about the oath details from CIC
IRCC will allow from today questions on twitter to be directed to them by DM. I doubt they will give any useful information in private. I suspect they want applicants not to pour their frustration and complaints about the slow process in public because it's ... well ... bad publicity.

Thanks.
Its a joke that ircc can spend time on responding on twitter but not actually processing applications and that too for generic questions. They cant serve the clients and cant answer their clients on their application specific queries for which they are obligated to but they wanted to perform some drama online on twitter. The Low level IRCC.
