Our application has passed all stages except Criminality. My spouse criminality is passed but they requested RCMP for me. We submitted that couple of months ago and no one has reviewed the RCMP results. Kind of frustrating now ....

Still waiting for COPR

Work permit is expiring at the end of August and same time my health card. But I am pregnant and often go for check up. Any suggestions?

Don't worry regadless of COVID auto extension or not you should get healthcare covered under ohip. I was in same situation when my work permit expired and was on implied status and pr was in process in Feb 2020.
My health card was not issued in service Ontario while on implied status but they said that I can back claim all the expenses when the work permit will be renewed. But when I saw the OB after health card expired, they charged 4500 CAD for OB care package and the recipients gave another list of expenses to be paid at the time of delivery. I was freaked out as the total expenses was going in 10k although I could claim all of them back.

I went to MPP office and explained situation, they appealed on our behalf to OHIP Council who then asked for documentation including Medical condition and extended our healthcare for 4 months untill we get our work permit renewed.

Sorry, just to go into detail, the reply says:

1)The background verifications are currently valid.

2) The security background verification is currently valid.

3) The crimina background verification is currently valid.

Does this change anything?
