Status is same on IRCC portal for last 2 months. I didn't receive nay ghost update as well. I received request to redo my medicals, then i called them to confirm status for eligibility, security, criminality.

biometrics completed : December 10,2019

ghost update : February 11,2020

spoke to cic on call : February 12

current status : all background check completed and cleared (medical, eligibility, security and others)

file is waiting for final review.

please advise when can I receive the golden email?

no update until sometime in late january when I saw mystatus says ‘Updated’. The background check only changed from ‘Your application is in progress’ to ‘We are processing your background check...’
No email notification

Called CIC on Feb 12 & Feb 14
both agents said all assessments are passed and just waiting for final review

i thought PPR was gonna come soon but still waiting. No ghost updates whatever.

I have a common-law partner and we submitted the same set of documents for his SOWP and that has been approved already on Feb10 so we thought PPR would come next.

Given that, is there still be any possibility for any problems after this ‘final review’?

Hey, I filed a web form yesterday and I received a reply this morning.
We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

• The eligibility is currently valid.
• The security background verification has not been initiated.
• The criminal background verification is currently valid.

I don’t know why the immigration officers would give me different informations. When I called they told me that they are working on my security now and my web form is saying that my security has not been initiated please which one do I follow? And Does valid mean passed?

Please can anybody explain what currently valid means. Is it met or re

@legalfalcon Hi, I raised CSE this week and got reply as for eligibility checks as below

• The eligibility verifications are in process.

However, when I rang them a week back, the agent told me that the eligibility checks are recommended pass.

What do you think has happened here? Is it possible that one of them is not giving correct information?

From what I understand, recommended pass means an agent has reviewed your eligibility and has "recommended" for it to be passed, then forwarded it to a senior officer. The senior officer is now verifying eligibility.

Hey all! What would be the chances of a senior officer overturning a recommended pass marked by a junior officer? I have a recommended pass on my eligibility. Does this mean I should stop worrying about issues regarding eligibility, or is everything still up in the air?
