I have a question - please spare some time to help me out. Currently I am in Canada.

My Closed work permit will expire on Nov 10th 2019 - and extension of closed work permit was submitted on Nov 1st by my company.

As i got PR AOR on Nov 2nd - which made me eligible for applying Bridging open work permit and I have applied for the same on Nov 4th.

Will there be any issues as my Closed and BOWP are submitted almost at same time?

No. There are no issues. However, for the BOWP your PR application has to meet the completeness check.

Legalfalcon, I will receive an ADR (for police clearance, because I'm applying from a country that requires an official letter to get one)
I would like to know:
1. What the sequence of status updates are, after uploading an additional document?
2. In this case, when would I most likely receive this request, given it's a police clearance document?
3.does an ADR result in freezing the processing of my application until I submit the pcc or will they proceed with other checks ?

I heard that IRCC normally asks that question. So that I want to provide them with a reason beforehand to avoid any delays. Please advice.

If your spouse is non-accompanying, you will have to provide a reason and there is a specific question in the online from. There is no need for a separate LoE.
