What do you mean by "Review Required". Which section in Application status among the following would this be reflected? It would be great if you can tell the exact message displayed?
Review of eligibility
Review of medical results
Review of additional documents
Interview
Biometrics
Background check
Final decision
If the application is under "Review Required" status it will never be updated in the online e-APR application where we usually check our latest status. The only way to proactively know IF our application is under RR is by calling IRCC directly where the agents would just check and let us know if at all there is any additional review required on any area in the application.
However the only possible way to obtain any additional details (ONLY IF the Case Officer or Visa Officer has cited any notes on the application explicitly) on which particular area (whether it is education, work experience, PCC, Proof of Funds, family/sibling ties ., etc.,etc) is by ordering the GCMS notes which is usually taking about 35-45 days these days.

This is a standard message that starts appearing right after 50% of the application (ONLY as per the progress tracker) is completed. It means nothing really!
