My second application processing went a lot faster and much smoother.
 
Hi All,

I am still waiting and the application shows background verification in process since May 2019. I applied in Nov 2018.
Is the anything I can do to know what exactly is going on in my case.
I tried web form several times but they give stereotype replies.
Please advice!!

I just got an email from donotreply@cic.gc.ca. I'm guessing all of you who are waiting also got this? Seems automated.

We're still working on your application.

You may not have heard from us in a little while. This is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

We send messages to your account if we need something from you. When we do that, we'll also send you an email to this address: ####@#####.###
