No. I just called PR immigration helpline 2 times. First time they told me Medical was already cleared (in May). Second time in Aug (Background checks cleared).

Hi All, our AOR is 12 Nov 2018. Waiting for PPR..
Got GCMS notes on 4 August,
Status as below:

ASSESSMENTS:
Eligibility: passed
Security: (blank)
Criminality: passed
Medical: passed
Information sharing: complete
Other requests: Cancelled
Final: blank

In the GCMS notes there is no mention of security screening and file transfer to any other department.
Had called agent, she mentioned file is awaiting to be reviewed by officer.
Is there any one with same status?
What does other reqs: cancelled means.

I thought I would be able to get him to give specific details of my case given his polite demeanor but unfortunately he was very firm in a polite way His statement was "Unfortunately few files take longer time to process which is not unusual. I don't have any other information to provide you today".

Recently the agents seems like very tight lipped - happened to me the other day - usually they give me the last day the file was worked on - the other day - they said the information is not available - i was like i know that day if you still do not want to share..

Seems like they are being trained to not give out much info that could upset the candidates and keep it a "MYSTERIOUS" ""EXPRESS"" entry journey - almost one year in 2 weeks - i kinda regret this journey - especially coz of the duration of delay - have lost months in my work exp .. Well who knows what Life has Instore for being patient

I was just going through all of the little detail in our profile and came across this statement from IRCC regarding the final decision.
I have read before that you were unable to withdraw your application. Does this mean that a final decision has been made on your file already?

Quoting:

The final decision tells you when your application is:

• in progress,
• approved,
• not approved because it was incomplete,
• refused,
• withdrawn,
• cannot be withdrawn, or
• cancelled.

When a final decision is made on your application, you will get a message in your account with more information and instructions on what to do next.

If you see that your application cannot be withdrawn, it means that we received your request to withdraw your application after we made a decision on it. In these cases you cannot withdraw your application.

You probably are aware of this but I thought I’d share with you in any case.

They refused my withdrawal request because my application is awaiting final review by the case officer. So I honestly, do not know if that means my application has been approved or not. 'Awaiting final review' has been my status since May 9, 2019 and I have completed 4 months as of today.

They even refused my visa office transfer request in July 14, 2019 because of program integrity. I was later told by the call centre agent that since my case was already awaiting decision pending officer's final review, my request was denied because such transfers could delay applications by two months. Funny thing is, I will be completing two months this week.

My medical is expiring on October 16, 2019 and I haven't logged into my CIC account since July 26, 2019.

I called the cic today he say that everything normal there's no problem but they are not starting my background check. Do you have any idea how many months still needs to wait? Thanks

Yay! Now August 2019 applicants are getting PR and here we are. What a joke!

They refused my withdrawal request because my application is awaiting final review by the case officer. So I honestly, do not know if that means my application has been approved or not. 'Awaiting final review' has been my status since May 9, 2019 and I have completed 4 months as of today.

They even refused my visa office transfer request in July 14, 2019 because of program integrity. I was later told by the call centre agent that since my case was already awaiting decision pending officer's final review, my request was denied because such transfers could delay applications by two months. Funny thing is, I will be completing two months this week.

I think he has linked his CIC account with his email account..... So if der would be any update, he would get the the notification .

Hmmm.. it’s mind boggling that they just don’t finalize a file that has been given a decision. How can they not just assign at least a couple of employees to work only on files that are put on hold?!

Yeah I understand why you don’t log in to your account. Had there been any change of status you’d know when you call. Even if you had any ghost updates what good does that do at this point right other than receiving the PPR itself.

Your patience is quite something to appreciate. Had I been put in such a situation, I’d lose my head.
