I just got off the phone with a very unfriendly agent, who basically told us nothing good. She claims that the file hasn't been untouched (though we have evidence that it has), she says criminality has been ongoing since December because the third parties they have to contact have not got back to them all this time (which I'm pretty sure it's a lie too) and they could take as long as they want to on that, and the IRCC can do nothing but wait. Also said that security cannot start until criminality is cleared (and I'm pretty sure some of you have criminality and security started that the same time). Moreover, she said that she is not aware of any backlogs (even though the agent we spoke to last time confirmed that they are dealing with somewhat of a backlog, without me even saying it). Oh and according to her, there's no way criminality would have been finished and the officer would not update it, if it hasn't been updated, it has definitely not been finished and we can never know how much longer it will take. Even though we know all these agents tell us different things and often lie, I am so so so upset right now

Did you order GCMS ? It is very useful and had a lot of information .. I recently received mine and everything is clear.. only my medical is ready to be finalized... So don't depend on these call center agents and better order your notes for clarity

I ordered before, generated in May 2019, and ordered 34 days ago again but still haven't received. I have no review required, there's literally nothing wrong with it. She said it's because they haven't received "third party reports" from countries that we have visited, interpol, etc but that's got to be BS... it couldn't possibly take this long given that we have no criminal records whatsoever... not even traffic tickets haha

According to the GCMS nots of May, everything was ready to be finalized since December 2018, even criminality says "recommendation: pass criminality". Ugh, I am so frustrated!!! These agents are terrible!!!

do not be upset .. there has been a lot of new call center agents who has no clue what they are looking into and what they are saying..
there might be instructions to the new agents on not to agree that there are backlogs - which we all know there are a lot ..
so trust gcms notes - MP's office emails ..
Dont put much sense into these agents - they get thousands of calls everyday - especially frustrated candidates and that could make them loose it ..

I think is quite clear that the information that call-centre agents provide is not trustworthy (because they constantly contradict each other). Just ignore her words.

Nothing to worry about. These days POF and employment are the common documents that are flagged for RR. It's probably going to take a while so just be mentally prepared for the wait.

This just proves what I said a little while ago, some of these call centre agents are students who are not aware about how their system works. They probably received minimal training and learn things as they go lol.

I won't really stress too much about it, call them again after 2 days. Hopefully, you will get a better agent this time.

Getting the right agents is all about luck.

Yeah, you're right! The thing is that even though I know very well how wrong the things these agents say to us can be, I still can't help but feel bad and hopeless about it. I just can't believe it's taken this long for no reason!!! I've never even got an ADR, and I'm entering my 10th month of wait today... it's unreal how careless they can be. The next thing I can think of trying is going to the media, but I don't know if I can bring myself to do it haha

@SithLord There has been a lot of movement in June - July - Aug 2018 AOR candidates with remed requests/ ADR's and med extension..

Seems like its getting closer

i hope it is just an RR and not SS because i am about to reach 11 months in a weeks time..

Dont have much energy left in me for another 6 more months

This message comes from Ottawa when eligibility is passed after RR. Criminality and security may be pending.
Seen a few RR cases getting this message near to their PPR.
Earlier response in RR is file is in queue.
Though Rec pass and met cases too get file in queue.

I got same message too two months ago. Hope to get PPR soon.

ordered notes, mid of june -- no notes so far (2 months today)
ordered notes, second week of july -- no notes so far ( after 3 and half weeks) (more than a month today)
ordered notes, third time last week, after whole month after july

no calls are going through since last week, as experienced by others.

so, in case, if someone is wondering they are special, no you are not, its happening to lots of other people.

applied notes on June 6th. applied through wrong act and got request to pay $5 and paid on june 12th Got the notes on on August 12th. Notes are dated June 24th

The notes states "Review Required" for eligibility but does not state anything specific. It is under Activities: Selection-EE Econ and also 11.2-EE MI
