So far what they told me has been confirmed through GCMS notes. I am stuck in Montreal and the only people who get looked at there are from August and early September. I guess I have a long wait ahead
I tried calling IrCc twice and waited for like thirty mins only to understand that they are facing technical difficulty diverting the calls.. it’s like after waiting for such a huge amount of time...
Sorry it’s like with no update on the app is scaring me.. my AOr is 4Nov and literally no update on profile after medical update...
Hi everyone !
My Background check has changed to "we are processing your BGC"
Is this is a positive sign? Any idea how long does it take to complete this check and what could be the next step ?

FSW - India/ single
True, plenty of US residents and - you guessed it - loads of Nigerians have already received their PPRs from the December cohort, but us FSW-O cit/res India folks, the forgotten stepchildren so to speak, are still waiting for our turn for any attention from Mother IRCC.

[Start of the rant. I don't know, I think CEC's are the true stepchildren. Nobody cares about us, still waiting without even a ghost update, whereas people on the other side of the world get PPR in 60-70 days. Nothing against them, just hurts when you have a job, education, paying taxes already etc. I mean a lot of newcomers are not even guaranteed to get a job in their field. One would think that it would be efficient to accept people who are already settled. End]
I know it's frustrating, but India being slow is no surprise looking at the sheer number of applications coming from there.
