It would be great if someone from this forum can help me with below situation
AOR -12 November
Medical passed 18 December
Background check is in process
I got married on 9 February.
Should I inform them upfront or wait for PPR and then tell them about status change..
Also, what changes are required from my end (like changing name address on passport)
I have got my marriage certificate
Hi Guys,
I am November 8 AOR, living in the US for the past 9 years. I called CIC last Friday and the rep told me that everything looks "Good". I asked him as to why I still haven't received a request to submit Bio-metrics and he said that we don't need it from everyone.
Could anyone else share their experience? I am from Pakistan so I thought I still needed to give Bio-metrics even though its been close to 7 years since I have been back.
HI Sith, Can you please let me know what does your "Application Status" say? I am not asking the "Background check". I know the "Background check" will be "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check".
What does the "Application Status" on top of the page show?

Because I remember it was something like , "You will not hear from us very soon, but your request is in progress. Most of the activities will happen in your profiles towards the estimated completion date" (Not the exact wording".
However, I see now that it's been changed without any notification to "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to. This will help move the application process along".
