For people outside canada, they can order it from third parties like getgcms or gcmsbuddy

In my opinion if you order it after 3 months then your application would have spent good amount of time and you would be able to see actitivites there and take action accordingly in case agents have mentioned any review required notes. I ordered mine after 3 and half months.
 
November AORs to start approaching 2 months from tomorrow.

I hope they pick up speed in the new year now.

The website suggests that you have a letter from the requesting source . Plus going by various sources it takes between 3-5 business days to get the RCMP check done which I don't think is a big delay. Why bother getting it if you don't need it?

Requirements as per the website

It is recommended that applicants bring with them a letter or file number from the requesting source, if applicable. All digital fingerprinting requests for Canadian Citizenship must include a letter from Citizenship and Immigration Canada, including the address for third party results and CIC file number. Please ensure this letter is available during the fingerprinting application session

Thats not really correct....I requested RCMP police clearance even though CIC didn't require me to have one and submitted along with my application....
 
I ordered the notes yesterday. Maybe there won't be a lot of info but still I will know the status of my application.

Planned from the start to order the notes every 30 days :cool:

Hahahah, its always better to have a clear picture of your application rather then being anxious for ling.
Please keep us updated once you receive your GCMS notes.

But at first I still need to wait until I receive them which is other 30 days :rolleyes: Ohh, waiting it is, so tiring o_O

If anyone interested I used getgcms.com. I have chosen them, I think, because of their aggressive marketing campaign on this forum ))
 
anybody know what is the process for ordering GCMS notes from within Canada. I won't be ordering them now. But I think ordering towards the end of January might shed some light on my application
