Status updated to “we are processing your background check”.

Just curious to know what they will be checking here. Could someone please explain? Thanks.

Hi, I have open work permit with valid TRV till December, 2019, anyone knows if we can skip the landing and leave Canada for 3weeks only with COPR and PR visa and do the landing while returning at airport, they also apply for PR card at same time?? CIC website also provide same information. Any feedback will be great.

I wanted to know whether anyone applying from India received a biometric request?I haven’t received it,but it seems everyone here is receiving it so am a little worried though my status shows we don’t need your fingerprints.

Indians with AOR before Dec 31st don't need to give biometrics.

Great!I guess they check the eligibility hete.Were are you applying from?
