I called the CIC on last Friday and the agent told me it is approved but my file got transferred to New Delhi office. Anyone faced the same issue? 6 months will get complete tomorrow for me. Anyone is facing the same that file gets transferred to Delhi from Ottawa? How long they take to send the email?

Normally local VO will issue the email in days if files are approved. Congrats!

Damn just pray they don't ask for ADR that would make things worse.

I know!! that's why I'm more concerned than most. but I had the job offer, pay slips, HR letter stating position and time of service and release letter, the only thing missing was the duties (had only a line of that in the offer), so the letter from my boss was not very official looking, but it didn't have to cover all the details... let's see what happens...

My company was sold out too! It was acquired by another company. I called the HR of the new company and told them of my requirements. Since they had acquired my company, they gave me a reference letter in their letter head and mentioned that I worked with abc company and it was acquired in so and year by xyz company. It worked for me.

Yeah, I should have done that, but I'm not living in the same country and everyone I knew there has left. I guess at this point they would ask for ADR if they see any issues, so let's wait and see...

How's that different? I am in Canada, I applied directly, it's not like I applied through some website applied and they didn't send me the notes.

My status got updated to IP2 on 30th April..

not applied yet. my consultant said to wait till the 6 month period gets over

Lol, if the file is filed by the consultant you should surely order the notes within 90 days. The reason is you never know what he has done.
I saw cases in which consultants did not submit proper documents and after ordering Plus notes people found out something was missing and things were corrected.

It’s IRCC, these people are lazy .
No fix time. Anytime between 10-20 days
