I know someone who called them everyday for 2 weeks. She still got her PPR within 6 months. The only thing that affected her was agents being rude.

Calling doesn’t have harmful effects on your application but calling them thrice or twice a month is a complete no no. When you call agents, they have dates in front of them when you made calls previously. If they come to know that you call twice or thrice a month they won’t check your application at all and will hang your phone with a rude reply. Why to face such consequences.

Yes, it's the same. Ottawa is fairly efficient compared to others offices. If you received your notes today I would assume your notes were issued a month ago. Your application could has been updated since then.

Update: Managed to get through call centre queue (38 mins) and spoke to a lovely agent. He conveyed that he cant access my application as it has been transferred to VO New Delhi. He was so kind that he followed it up with an email to me with contact details link and website address of delhi office. Not sure why it was transferred and what is going to come out: lady or tiger

Everytime I see a post where someone is getting a ghost update.. I check my profile in the hope of getting one for myself too.

1- CIC call centre
+16139444000

2- English press 1

3- immigration press 1

4- transfer to citzship and imm can processing application press 1

5- status or processing times press 1

6- become permanent resident press 2

7- application starts with E press 2

8- then enter application number followed by #

9- listen to the entered number and press 1 to confirm

10- enter the year of birth and then listen the entered number and press 1 to confirm

11- hear the details

12- then press 1 to check status (there will be a pause)

13- hear detailed status at the end press 0 to speak to agent

Use Skype or a US / Canada number or any international number service

Just want to check if anyone here from india sent their passport for the stamping last week and has the passport been received ?

Yes i submitted my passport on 18th april and received it back on 23rd april with CoPR letter
