Calm down . This process is a bit random, if you have been truthful in your application rest assured you will get the COPR.

I am 2nov AOR timer is down to 31 days . Have not heard anything yet since MEP. and this tis the normal trend at the moment ( of not getting any update till 5 month mark). I have invested a lot in this process as well believe me i can understand.

I believe that only when you clear both "Review of eligibility requirements" and "Background check" will the status change. So it is possible that you have cleared Eligibility requirements while the background check is in progress.

Hey guys, just finished a quick phone call with IRCC customer service, my AOR Nov 28th, according to her word, eligibility recommend pass, medical pass, criminal pass, Background check passed the first part, second part has not start yet. Why BG check has two parts?

Check your VO Office because most of the US residents get it in 120 days. My VO is montreal which is the slowest of all offices and my status is same as yours.

What they asked about in the family information ADR?
We already provided parents name, residence and date of birth what else they asked about family information?

Hi,

I got my ITA on 29th Oct'18 and AOR on the 29th Nov'18. My Medical got cleared on the 13th Jan'19, post that there is no update on my application. Believe I'm at IP1 for more than 2 and half months now. The Estimated time for application to be completed is May end. Can anybody assist me at this stage? Is it a good time to apply for GCMS notes or should I wait?

What is the difference between review of eligibility and background check? how long does background check take?

Eligibility - Check whether all the documents submitted are genuine and whether you have adequate funds, work experience, correct NOC code etc.

Background Check - Check whether you have a criminal history or any sort of history which might be detrimental to maintaining law and order in Canada.

They just need an updated information of same form with parents and sibling details like DOB, address which we provide initially.

Have you lived in two or more different countries?

When I called a few weeks ago, I was told the same thing - 1 completed and 1 ongoing. I assumed it’s because I lived in my home country and now living in Canada. So one of them was done.

Its a common bug with the CIC page. Just try again or use another browser. If none works, clear cookies/cache and try again.
