yea, hopes are fading.

i am sure, only less than 5% are pending, for November 2018, more than 95% application are done.

Not sure how they're going to go with these 5% cases. Could take more months to clear them.

The next public holiday is October 14th. So they have more than a month. Let's see how they move from here.

Atleast 200 must be pending for november.so yeah if we assume 6000 applied in November then it is less than 5 percent.

While on road, the traffic on the other side of the road seems to be moving whereas I face traffic jam...... Whichever line I choose to join...... Is slower than the others ...... And now this ppr.

You should check March 2019 - May 2019 threads. Lots of PPRs there!!!

IRCC is making us feel like criminals, no attention at all.

Yes it really hurts . Specially when u have everything genuine and honest.
I know a few people who got PPR with fake work experiences. And I am sitting in RR for work despite having everything genuine ITR,form 16 , salary account ,web presence ,ppf statement .
But I think it's not our fault nor it has something to do with our luck.
This whole EE system is a crap .I mean seriously why can't u ask for more docs when finalizing ones application or provide transparent real time updates. If this is your efficiency then India is way ahead than Canada in governance.
So with a bullshit of system we should not blame ourselves. Lets face this crap for some more time while enjoying our festival season meanwhile.

How to make a call to IRCC, there is a new menu which makes me nuts. The old number transfers me to the emergency center in Ottawa and doesn't connect to an agent hanging saying that "We don't provide information regarding permanent residence".
Can someone provide me with a new number which I need to call or instructions which buttons should be pressed to get in touch with an agent?

The ivr option says exactly what you said..... But don't disconnect the call.....

Those who were wondering why Canada doesn't have a lottery system like USA. Well, it does and it is called Express Entry.

Just called one more time. I think I am doing smth wrong. After it connects me to the Ottawa emergency center, I press 2 to be redirected on permanent residency section and after that my call is dropped with the words with the meaning that "We are not providing such a service".

They are issuing most PPR for either inland or CEC from last two months from 2018 backlog cases. I might be wrong but on this forum atleast it seems the trend.

Justin Trudeau was here in Ontario and asked about immigration backlog. Apparently he said currently the preference is processing thos already within Canada. Not sure how true it is but this is what I heard.
