The poor person was agonisingly kept waiting exactly six months for an AOR, and I remember how happy s/he was to receive AOR back in May. The mental torture must have been awful for her/him. An absolutely unforgivable inconsideration by IRCC, I think. Simply awful service.
Agree - this is insanity.
in process since December

hi Everyone
I passed my citizenship test on July 9th.
Please update the sheet and sorry for being late to update.
The officer asked me to provide a translated copy of my passport which i did on July 11th and as per Canada post it was delivered to CIC on July 12th.
IS it weird that i still see in process when i check my application status online? do you think this would mean more waiting for me?
The officer said the requested documents shouldn't affect the processing of my file and i should get an update by mail within 4-6 weeks.
I am reading through everyone's posts and almost everyone got Decision Made the next day after the test date.
Should I be worried?
Hi Everyone,
I did my finger print yesterday. Could anyone please tell me how do i know that RCMP send my report to CIC ? Any email or contact number for RCMP?

If u do it through the agent, they should give u their email to msg RCMP and confirm if they received it, I did the same thing and they said they have received it, Bt it took them like 12 working days to sent it to CIC and another 7 days to deliver

Thanks Goodluck abi.
I did it through RCMP accredited finger print technician and they said that they don't have RCMP contact info.

The officer said it'll be 4-6 weeks so you won't get DM next day. Since they requested it, they'll check your passport translation before making a decision.

Absolutely not. Many people (myself included) are stuck in security clearance which seemingly may take up to 9 months (based on the excel file).
So don't worry.
This is for the member Shankari. She had her DM on Jun 21st. Please update the sheet.

Congrats!
Yesterday, I got an email requesting fingerprints. Funny enough, never had that before (during work permits, permanent residence, etc). Anyhow, I'm going to RCMP today here in Toronto. Had some troubles finding my COPR. I never thought they would ask you to bring it with you if you already have your PR card.
Had my Oath Ceremony yesterday at Scarborough and became a Canadian Citizen. The whole process took around 9 months, which I feel is not bad considering Scarborough's backlog. The only hiccup in the ceremony was to sing the National Anthem in French even though the Clerk informed that the ceremony will be done in English as everyone preferred it.
