I have a question. Is the certificate you get at your oath ceremony one you can use when applying for a passport?

On the passport application under proof of Canadian citizenship they seem to make a distinction between the two but I don't know if that is referring to those who pre-2012 got an actual card with photo as well as a commemorative certificate OR if they are referring to what one gets today at an oath ceremony? They tell people to wait at least two business days after ceremony to apply for passport so I am hoping what you get today is proof of citizenship.

I do not see this option on the form. A is for people born in Canada and B is for people born outside of Canada.

And Yes, the Certificate that you get from the Oath Ceremony will be needed.

Interview? They didn't take anything from me after the interview. I'm pretty sure they'll take the PR card after the oath ceremony. For the interview I brought my passport, PR card, driver license, (they checked none of the following), IELTS report, stamp translation, CoPR, some boarding passes I saved, employment offer letters, rental agreements, some other things I dumped in a junk folder that I brought with me

LOL I don't know what's important that's why I brought them all. Test was so easy you might get 15/20 even without reading the book. One pro tip: If you're bilingual, ask for French service and you'll get outta there a lot faster!
