Hi everyone,
I have one question, I guess it was already discussed several times but I couldn't find the right answer.
What means background check? Only security checks or more like cra address... Does Sydney do security checks or is split by Sydney a the local office.
The application when it goes in process is still in Sydney I am just wondering how this works.

any answer you get for this - is just a speculation. Unless someone who actually works at IRCC is on this forum.

You’re from Montreal, right? What time was your exam? I was scheduled on the same day as well but due to the protest, test for 8:15 and 10:15 were cancelled.

Yes! that's right!!! i saw people very angry at the entrance door because of that... but mine was scheduled for 13:15 so everything was normal at that moment
